I left the church many years ago, because I felt disillusioned by some things that I was seeing. I know that people are not perfect, but I saw that excuse being used more often than not. I believe in God and the bible and love the thought of people trying to live by a higher standard. If we did this, the world would be a better place. I want to go back one day, but without listening to individuals that are control freaks. You know the ones that want to know everything about you, so they can give their opinion on it, then tell you how to think. You can’t breath without their advice. I like reading the bible. The counsel is enlightening and thought provoking. I long for wholesome fellowship, but for now, I’ll just work on being the best that I can be as a person and stay clear of individual that will try to take advantage of me, then tell me how imperfect they are. 1 John 4:8, Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

  2. I,ve noticed whenever I meet someone that has never been in my social group will asked at once, what church do you attend. They appear to saying to me,if you attend such-such church you are okay, but if you attend over there you headed straight to hell. When I answer that I attend so&so Mosque the blood drains from their faces. As youhave said,God is personal,I ffind him in Islam.
