One response to “Dr. Boyce and Richelle Carey Ask: “Have black males benefited from the Obama Presidency?”

  1. Well spoken by Dr. Boyce. The ‘black’ president has not done anything worthy of the approval of the black populace. As a matter of fact his position will make it that much easier for discrimination against all blacks including some of the well known dignitaries like Dr. Boyce, Dr. West, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Prof. Gates, and others who are either, not on the Obama bandwagon, or who seek real, and positive changes for a positive ‘African-American populace.

When Clinton was president it was said that more blacks were incarcerated than during the presidencies of both Reagan and Bush combined, and I’m almost certain that by Obama’s presidential end, the numbers may surpass that of Clinton’s. Jobless numbers aside.

As for jobs in this racist, discriminatory environment, that has nearly abolished the ‘Affirmative Action’ process. We now have no safeguards to insure that we are not racially discriminated against, mistreated and cheated.
What’s worse, the law enforcement, and judicial system, still top-heavy with Anglos, are not lenient nor understanding of our very difficult predicaments, and the negative affects, this white supremacist country inflicts on our lives.
