President Obama Issues a Statement on the Cote d’Ivoire Situation

I remain deeply concerned by the security situation in Cote d’Ivoire. I strongly support the role that United Nations peacekeepers are playing as they enforce their mandate to protect civilians, and I welcome the efforts of French forces who are supporting that mission. Tragically, the violence that we are seeing could have been averted had Laurent Gbagbo respected the results of last year’s presidential election. To end this violence and prevent more bloodshed, former President Gbagbo must stand down immediately, and direct those who are fighting on his behalf to lay down their arms. Every day that the fighting persists will bring more suffering, and further delay the future of peace and prosperity that the people of Cote D’Ivoire deserve.

The people of Cote D’Ivoire have suffered too much throughout this period of unrest. The United States joins with the international community in our deep concern about reports of massacres in the western region of the country, and the dangers faced by innocent civilians – particularly the most vulnerable. All parties must show restraint and respect the rights of the Ivorian people, and I welcome President Ouattara’s pledge to ensure accountability for those who have carried out attacks against civilians. Meanwhile, the United States will continue to support a future in which Laurent Gbagbo stands down, and President Outarra and the government of Cote D’Ivoire can move beyond this current crisis and serve all of the Ivorian people.

    about time he said something…

  2. To be sure. ‘President’ Obama is a spokesman and front figurehead for the Anglo-Elite ‘Cabal’, call them what you will, but make no mistake as to what they are capable of!
When their speaker Mr. Obama speaks for the U.S. he is speaking for them, not “We The People”.
Go back and study the true history of the United States. Use the late Prof. Howard Zinn’s history book and not those book of lies they use in most U.S. education facilities.
With your most enlightened mindset, and natural wisdom untarnished by a human concocted religious ‘God’ belief system if you possibly can and think about how the U.S., France, England, Australia, Canada, Austria, Germany, Spain, and many other European nations go about their business when it comes to Africans and its peoples.
Understand that the problems people of the African Diaspora face were not problems they created and carried out on themselves.
These concerns Mr. Obama speak of for the U.S. and its cohorts including the United Nations. Is caused by them, so they are not in the business in trying to stop a problem that they have themselves caused. They are compelled to confuse the public and redirect the thought processes of all human-beings to invest in their conquests while portraying themselves as the ‘good guys’ when they have never been good! They will never be good and every word they utter through the mouths of their puppets are disingenuous to say the least.
The question then becomes how can people open their blocked minds to understand the hoaxes before them? What does it take to make the masses understand that those in power in the Anglo-Elite world are not their friends or saviors by any stretch of the imagination.
The deceptions are overwhelming for those who are unable to see and those who are unable to see and understand are mentally hampered by a great deal of psychological input. Try to figure out what Eurocentric/Americanization psychosocial inputs could be blocking the clear thoughts of even well educated, and well intentioned human-beings?

Look at Haiti for one, and know that the suffering those African peoples have gone through for decades is the direct result of the Anglo-American/French Elite and their cohorts!

Now. Knowing what I know. When I see Mr. Obama speaking, my mind imagines a thick flow of human defecation spilling from his opened mouth. It is his legacy, a legacy that assures him great prosperity and stature among a mostly ignorant, mentally, and emotionally deplete peoples.
