My colleague, Richard Southall at the College Sport Research Institute at UNC Chapel Hill shared this quote with me….I have no idea where he got it, but I love it: "We’re not here to die slowly. We’re here to live fully"
If you really consider the fact that the thing called "tomorrow" will very quickly turn into "yesterday," we are reminded of just how quickly the years go by. Every second is an infinitely-wide window of opportunity for you to change your life forever or to impact the life of someone you care about.
Make a pledge to do something extraordinary right this damn second…..don’t let anything or anyone stop you…..I guarantee you’ll be glad you did. As you grow older, you are more likely to regret things you DIDN’T do, rather than the things you did do…just my two cents.

TRITE AND DIDACTIC…SHAME ON YOU, DR. BOYCE!!! (smiles…)
